With reference to the 2020 Memorandum of Understanding on digital cross-border trade and trade financing between the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality. DataPost Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) has recently collaborated with Kingdee Software Co., Ltd. (China) to carry out a project on connectivity to the international Peppol e-invoicing network to promote and demonstrate the value of trade digitalization.
On 18 October 2021, DataPost Pte. Ltd. signed a MOU with Kingdee Software Co. Ltd. to improve the level of digital interconnection of a "Smart City" and promote the establishment of a comprehensive digital trade channel between Shenzhen and Singapore.

With this MOU collaboration, DataPost will promote Peppol e-invoicing's key benefits to China and build strong international connections and relationships in terms of digital partnerships, collaboration, and extending the exposure of its branding. Kingdee will enable businesses connected to their ERP system to communicate e-invoicing with other businesses locally and internationally and government agencies in the procurement process. Not only will there be digital interconnection between Singapore and China, and this will also extend to a global scale, where businesses will be able to connect in the same network digitally. The two will help businesses improve their efficiency, reduce costs, increase payment processes and at the same time be sustainable.
